Happy Harvest Time

I apologize I’ve been a little lax in posting. Working full time and part time until recently, and now taking care of my husband and his business until he gets back on his feet (literally) has kept me from creating new posts. So, I need to clear the cobwebs and get back to it…here we go!

What happened to summer? It went by so fast. :(  It is my favorite season but I admit I really am starting to like Fall.  The clothes: cozy sweaters, and boots. The food: beef stew, Shepard’s pie and warm cider! yumm  Then there’s the beautiful colors. I am so blessed to live in the best foliage area in the US (I’m bias) Our tiny state should see about $2 billion dollars from leaf peepers alone. The bright yellow/gold, orange and reds fill the air around me. When the sun hits the trees it makes everything glow-it can’t help but bring a sense of warmth and happiness. So why not bring a little happy from the outside to the indoors also?

My brother made me this wheelbarrow (great job huh?) so I had to fill it with
a hay bale, pumpkins, scarecrows, mums and orange lighted
fall foliage. It gives a nice warm glow at night.
Now for inside…

my lighted owl!                                                                                                                pumpkins, leaves and a Fall candle.

How do you decorate for Fall? Do you live in an area with beautiful foliage like me?
